Malaysian property developer UOA Group has opened a property sales gallery and customer service centre at Suntec City, as part of the company’s expansion plans to target Singaporeans and other foreign buyers eyeing its high-end residential and commercial developments.
“It is a common worry for buyers of properties overseas that there will be poor after-sale services for leasing, sales, repairs and payments, etc,” said David Khor, senior general manager at UOA.
“By having this office and bringing our service standards to them right here in Singapore, buyers can have more confidence in our group.”
The company also hopes to increase the number of foreign buyers acquiring its property projects.
“Singaporeans and (other) foreigners, from countries such as China, make up about 10 percent of the buyers for our high-end commercial and residential developments. With this property sales gallery and service centre in Singapore, we aim to increase that proportion to 25 percent,” added Mr. Khor.
The new office at Suntec City will also serve as UOA’s investor relations office for the company’s more than 2,000 shareholders.
Property buyers in Singapore can now attend previews to UOA’s property launches in the country at the sales gallery.
Nearly $8 million has been spent by UOA to acquire and renovate the new office at Suntec City Tower One.
