Sansiri unveils Thai-style design concept

Thai property developer Sansiri has announced plans to include Thai heritage concepts into the design of its new residential projects under the Setthasiri Thai Series.

Manu Trakulwattanakit, head of the design solution department at Sansiri, announced that after seven years of single-detached housing projects, this will be the company’s first time launching low-rise projects with a focus on Thai-style architecture.

“We seemed to concentrate more on the western-style architecture in our previous housing projects. And we think that it’s time for a change. So we were starting to think of something that suited more of our Thai ways of living, our culture, or even our climate and found that Thai architecture was the answer to all of our questions,” he said.

The series will comprise three new high-end projects including Setthasiri Charansanitwong, Setthasiri Watcharaphon and Setthasiri Chaiyapruk-Chaengwattana, which is the first project to be launched this month.

The two other projects are expected to be launched next year with prices similar to Setthasiri Chaiyapruk-Chaengwattana, which starts from THB6.99 million (US$ 225,300).
