17 Sep 2010

The URA has released two residential sites located at Stirling Road and Sembawang Greenvale for sale.

The site located at Stirling Road (Parcel B) site is launched for application for sale under the Reserve List of H2 2010 GLS Programme, while Sembawang Greenvale (Phase 3) is made available for sale under the Confirmed List.

Together, the two residential sites can yield approximately 560 housing units, providing homebuyers with more housing choices.

The 1.05-ha site at Stirling Road (Parcel B) can yield approximately 445 housing units. The site is accessible through main roads and expressways, including Queensway, Alexandra Road and Ayer Rajah Expressway. The site will be released for sale if the criteria for the triggering of the site are met.

Meanwhile, Sembawang Greenvale is a new housing estate planned by URA. Situated along Sembawang Road, it is located next to the established landed housing estates at Sembawang Straits Estate and Straits Garden.

The Phase 1 and 2 of Sembawang Greenvale were sold through a public tender in October 2007 and April 2008, respectively. The URA is now launching Phase 3 up for sale. It comprises 14 land parcels that can yield 115 landed housing units. The land parcels include individual bungalow lots, small streetblock parcels, each with 4 to 17 plots of land for terrace and semi-detached housing, and a land parcel for strata landed housing development. The land parcels will be sold through a public auction on October 28 at The URA Centre, 5th storey Function Hall.
