Strata SE1 debuts in Asia

14 Jan 2011

Strata SE1, a new residential tower in London, is debuting in the Asian market with a series of invitation-only events in Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai, offering well-off Asian buyers an opportunity to buy into the newest urban landmark of London.

“We are thrilled to have this unique opportunity to present Strata directly to discerning Asian buyers,” said Justin Black, Director of Brookfield Europe, which develops the project. “Strata offers a new perspective for a new way of urban living in London. With its prime location in Elephant & Castle, the city’s fastest growing area, its distinctive contemporary design and amazing, extraordinary views that are unmatched in all of London, Strata offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to own a piece of London’s future.”

Completed in 2007, units at the Strata were sold out quickly. However, many new buyers could not close, creating the chance to acquire a brand new apartment.

The three enormous integrated wind turbines are the most interesting and functional feature of the property. Providing up to eight percent of the building’s energy, the development is setting the new standard for sustainable design and development.

The Strata offers 403 apartments ranging from studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units, with sizes between 34 sq m and 89 sq m, as well as several Sky Collection penthouses. The apartments are being sold from £230,000 onwards.

For its Asian debut, 52 apartments ranging between 34 sq m and 178 sq m are being offered for sale.
