Following the successful preview of Shiki Niseko in Kuala Lumpur on December 11 and 12, the iconic and luxurious ski resort is set to launch in Singapore on January 8 and 9.
Located in upper Hirafu village in Japan, Shiki Niseko is often called the Aspen of the East, known for its powder skiing after it was named the world’s second snowiest ski resort and Japan’s best ski resort.
The freehold, 7-storey development features 69 fully-furnished one-, two- or three-bedroom units and two-bedroom penthouses ranging between 632 sq ft and 1,636 sq ft for typical units. Shiki Niseko is poised to be a four season destination, offering various activities for the family all year round. The development also features a lobby fireplace and about 10,000 sq ft of retail space and restaurants for residents and visitors.
“The development offers good investment potential as Niseko attracts about 1.5 million Japanese and international visitors a year. Tourist arrivals were up 25 percent over the 2009/2010 ski season compared to previous seasons,” said Low Su Ming, joint managing director of AP Land Bhd, the developer of the project.
“We are confident that investors will tap into this burgeoning demand,” added Ms. Low.
David Neubronner, head of Singapore Residential Project Sales at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), the marketing agent for Shiki Niseko in Singapore, commented: “We expect a strong response at the upcoming Singapore event after the successful preview of Shiki Niseko in Kuala Lumpur.”
Construction begins in April 2011 and is slated for completion by November 2012.
