Lake Vista@Yuan Ching, the first Design, Build and Sell Scheme (DBSS) project in western Singapore, was launched yesterday, receiving a total of 100 applications as of 6pm.
Developed through a joint venture (JV) between Sunway Development, S C Wong Holdings and Hoi Hup Realty, the 682-unit project comprises four 21- and 22-storey apartment blocks. It offers 258 five-room, 279 four-room and 145 three-room flats, with prices starting from S$360,500 for a three-room flat to S$584,300 for a five-room flat.
Despite other DBSS projects coming up in Clementi and Bedok, the developers said they are not worried about their competitors.
“Lake Vista will attract those who are staying in the area to apply for a unit. Clementi and Bedok will have their own catchment and own demand,” said Jack Chua, Executive Director of Hersing Corporation.
“Those who stay in that locality will like to have their own unit in that development. So we are looking at different catchment and different demand.”
E-applications for the flats will end on 24 October 2011, after which balloting will start.
