Malaysia Property Incorporated (MPI), a government agency which aims to promote individual and corporate foreign direct investment in Malaysia, is set to launch the Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) campaign in India, starting tomorrow.
“The three-day MM2H campaign in India is the first of many joint initiatives between MM2H and MPI to offer Indian investors a more in-depth chance to understand the benefits of MM2H and navigating the rules of property investment in Malaysia,” said Kumar Tharmalingam, Chief Executive Officer of MPI.
The campaign will be officially launched in three key cities — Ludhiana, Delhi and Chennai.
“These three cities were chosen for special reasons: Ludhiana lies in the heart of Punjab and is commonly known as the Manchester of India due to its affluence while New Delhi and Chennai are known as major metro cities in India with a significant population of multi-millionaires,” Tharmalingam said.
MM2H will organise a presentation in each city, followed by a cocktail-cum-dinner to be attended by influential property consultants, high net-worth individuals and the media. The presentation will see MPI providing an overview on the types of properties available for investment, main investment areas, prices and potential returns.
The October campaign is part of a series of new programmes to establish MM2H and Malaysia as a key property investment destination for Indian investors.
