LaSalle Investment Management (LaSalle), the leading global real estate investment manager, has announced that Jack Chandler has been appointed its new Global Chief Investment Officer, starting 31 January.
In addition, he will also be the new Executive Chairman of LaSalle’s Asia Pacific Business.
Meanwhile, Philip Ling, currently the Managing Director Asia Pacific, has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer for Asia Pacific and will be based in LaSalle’s Singapore office.
Mr. Chandler will be working with the company’s key investors and private equity teams to develop products and new investment ideas throughout the 30 nations where the firm is an active investor. He will continue to work with Mr. Ling to continue to expand LaSalle’s investment and platform activities.
“These expanded roles will enable us to continue providing the highest level of service and performance to our Asia Pacific investors and expand our ability to serve clients in our other key countries,” said Jeff Jacobson, Global CEO of LaSalle.
Mr. Chandler also said, “Since joining us in 2007, Phil’s leadership has been instrumental, as we strengthened and expanded our team and capabilities in the region. We see very attractive opportunities for our funds with remaining capital to invest and I look forward to continuing working closely with him and our Asia Pacific team.”
