Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) has appointed Hugo Bagué and Martin H. Nesbitt as independent, non-executive members of its Board of Directors, effective 1 March 2011.
Mr. Bagué and Mr. Nesbitt will both serve on the Board’s Nominating and Governance Committee.
Mr. Bagué, who will also join the Board’s Compensation Committee, is currently the Group Executive for UK-based Rio Tinto with overall responsibility for Human Resources, Health & Safety, Communities and Corporate Communications.
Prior to joining Rio Tinto, Mr. Bagué worked for the California-based Hewlett-Packard Corporation as Global Vice President of Human Resources for the Technology Solutions Group. He also worked for Compaq Computer, Nortel Networks and Abbott Laboratories.
Mr. Bagué, who holds a degree in linguistics and post graduate qualifications in Human Resources & Marketing, is part of the Advisory Council of United Business Institutes in Brussels, Belgium.
Meanwhile, Mr. Nesbitt is the current CEO and President of Chicago-based PRG Parking Management. He previously worked for property company Pritzker Realty Group, L.P. and before that, served as Vice President and Investment Manager at LaSalle Partners.
Mr. Nesbitt is a member of The University of Chicago Laboratory School Board and a Trustee of Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree and honorary doctorate from Albion College in Michigan, as well as a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago.
