W Hotels Worldwide has opened the doors of W Taipei, its 39th hotel globally, located in the Central Business District (CBD) of Xinyi. Its opening coincides with the opening of W London ̶ Leicester Square, which will become the brand’s 40th hotel worldwide.
W Taipei offers 405 suites and guestrooms, featuring interior balconies / play pads, warm-coloured stones, burnished wood and lush, electrical floral carpeting. All guestrooms also feature the signature W Bed, leather ergonomic chairs, state-of-the-art in-room technology, including 42-inch LCD televisions, high-speed wired and wireless Internet access, IP phones with voicemail, Bose 2.1 sound systems, charging MP3 player docks and W Taipei’s signature W Zodiac Animals.
W Taipei also offers over 2,833 sq m of meeting and event space. The Mega Room will become the biggest pillar-less ballroom in the city, with more than 1,039 sq m of space dedicated to events ranging from annual meetings and state dinners to gala wedding banquets and fashion shows.
W Taipei celebrates its premier with the “Spectacular” opening offer from 14 February to 31 August, at prices ranging from US$250 to S$445 per night, excluding a 10 percent service charge and five percent tax. The package includes accommodation in a Fantastic Suite or Spectacular Room, al fresco breakfast at The Kitchen Table and signature welcome cocktail at Yen Bar, among others.
