The Housing and Development Board (HDB) is launching two sites at Bendemeer Road / Whampoa East and Tampines Central 7 for sale under the confirmed list of 1H2011 GLS Programme.
With a land area of 18,618 sq m, the land parcel at Bendemeer Road / Whampoa East has a maximum permissible gross floor area (GFA) of 65,163 sq m and a lease term of 99 years. It is proposed for executive condominium (EC) housing, with an estimated yield of 780 units.
Meanwhile, the Tampines Central 7 site has a land area of 22,000 sq m and a maximum GFA of 66,000 sq m. Also proposed for an (EC) development, the site can potentially yield 660 units.
To cater to the strong demand for private housing and land for private residential developments, the government has placed 17 sites on the confirmed list and 13 sites on the reserve list for private residential development under the 1H2011 GLS Programme. Together, the 30 sites, which include four EC sites and two commercial and residential sites, have a potential yield of 14,300 private residential units.
The tender for the Bendemeer Road / Whampoa East and Tampines Central 7 sites will close on 7 and 14 April respectively.
