Scheduled to open in 2014, the Ascott Financial City Chengdu is set to be the first residential development to carry the Ascott brand name in the southwestern part of China.
The 58-storey development will house 181 units, including one- to four-bedroom apartments and feature facilities such as a swimming pool, spa, gym, business centre and meeting room.
Somerset Wangjing Beijing, which is also a first for the Ascott brand, will be launched in Beijing’s dynamic business district in 2013. It comprises 187 units, ranging from studio to three-bedroom apartments.
The Ascott Ltd also entered the Vietnamese market by purchasing a Somerset-branded property through a joint venture (JV) agreement with Thuy Duong Investment Joint Stock Company. The Somerset Central TD Hai Phong City will include 132 units and is set to open in late 2012.
