26 Sep 2011

Southeast Asia’s largest real estate developer, CapitaLand, clinched nine awards at the 2011 Euromoney Real Estate Awards, including the Best Global Mixed-use Developer in Asia, for the second consecutive year.

The company also scored a hat-trick, being named the Best Retail Developer in Asia for a third consecutive year, while it was awarded Best Developer in China for the first time. CapitaLand China bagged the Best Retail Developer and Best Mixed-use Developer awards.

Meanwhile, CapitaLand Singapore was recognised as the Best Residential Developer and Best Retail Developer.

The awards are based on an annual Real Estate Survey by Euromoney, a leading business and financial publication. It surveyed more than 1,200 real estate and financial professionals across 160 countries from 17 March to 15 June 2011. The survey sought to rank real estate developers on Global, Regional and Country levels.

The latest awards add to CapitaLand’s numerous corporate accolades, which includes Best Managed Company in FinanceAsia’s Best Companies Poll 2011, as well as Best Corporate Governance in Singapore at World Finance’s 2011 Corporate Governance Awards.
