Second Naumi Hotel in Singapore to open next year

8 Sep 2011

Naumi Hotels Pte Ltd, one of the premier luxury hotel companies in Singapore, has announced the opening of its second hotel at Keong Saik Road in 2012. The announcement came after The Royal Peacock Hotel Pte Ltd sold the The Saff to the Hind Group for slightly below S$42.1 million.

“The Naumi brand appeals to business travellers, couples, families, and various groups across the market; and Chinatown is an immensely popular destination with a rich heritage that appeals to a wide range of market segments,” said Gaurang Jhunjhnuwala, Director of Naumi Hotels Pte Ltd.

“This new addition gives guests the option between our luxury and value brands, providing two distinct and attractive choices within prime locations. We are very pleased to be adding this development to our portfolio."

Like the Naumi Hotel at Seah Street, which was refurbished from the previous Metropole Hotel in 2007, the second hotel at Keong Saik Road will also be retrofitted to a high-class, trendy development with 79 designer rooms.

The total refurbishment of the second hotel at Keong Saik Road is set for completion in Q1 2012, after the acquisition has been finalised. This will add to the current 40 rooms under the management of Naumi Hotel, bringing the number to a total of 119.

Meanwhile, the group revealed its expansion plans for more hotels in Singapore, as well as in key countries like Vietnam and Australia.
