As part of celebrations to welcome the giant pandas Kai Kai and Jia Jia to Singapore, property developer CapitaLand has designed a unique set of plush toy-bags (pictured) in an effort to spread the message of protecting critically endangered species.
Committed to promoting wildlife conservation education among the youth, CapitaLand was named presenting sponsor and conservation donor of the 10-year Giant Panda Collaborative Programme.
The giant panda plush toy-bags are made from recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) bottles which require 30 percent less energy to produce compared to virgin polyester.
The items look like ordinary stuffed toys but when the back of the five-inch panda is unzipped, it reveals a bag with Jia Jia or Kai Kai hanging snuggly on the edge.
