Minor International has achieved strong sales of THB1.15 billion (S$45.58 million) in Q1 2012, helped by its portfolio of residences across key locations in Thailand.
Ideally located on the higher floors of the St. Regis Hotel in Bangkok, the St. Regis Residences (pictured) has sold 41 of the 53 units available.
“The largest numbers of individual Residences have been purchased by Thai nationals. Our other owners have come from all over the world and are people who wanted to own the ultimate private home in Bangkok that is fully serviced by a leading five star hotel such as The St. Regis,” said James Knowles, Vice President for Sales & Marketing, Residential Property.
The Residences comprise exclusively of three- and four-bedroom private, serviced apartments ranging from 325 to 440 sq m.
Since the development opened more than a year ago, enquiries have surged as potential buyers are attracted to its premier quality and service delivery, Knowles said.
Meanwhile, the developer has completed the second and final phase of The Residences in Chiang Mai, located next to the Four Seasons Hotel in Mae Rim. It features five Villa Residences at 2,400 sq m each, of which two have already been sold.
Over at Koh Samui, The Estates adjacent to the Four Seasons Hotel offers 14 villas, one of which was sold to a Thai national for over US$3 million (S$3.68 million) — one of the costliest deals on the island in recent times.
