Overseas developers especially from the UK are continuing to attract buyers and investors from Singapore with good investment deals.

Next week (28 – 30 September), Ballymore Group will hold the Singapore launch of the latest phase of its 2,000-unit Embassy Gardens (pictured) in central London at the St. Regis Hotel. Named Capitol Building, the second phase follows the successful launch of the project’s Ambassador building.

Doris Tan, Head of Residential International Project Sales at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), said: “Embassy Gardens has been our best selling project this year with interest from the Singapore market remaining very strong affirming the quality product and location.”

Capitol Building will be up to 15-storeys tall comprising luxury suites, one- and two-bedroom apartments and three-bedder penthouses. Each unit boasts open plan designs, tall ceilings, and high-quality specifications such as oak parquet flooring, well-fitted kitchens and marble bathrooms.

The apartments also come with either balconies or winter gardens that offer panoramic views of London’s famous landmarks.

Conceptualised by renowned master planner Sir Terry Farrell, Embassy Gardens is sprawled across 15-acres with individual buildings designed by skilled architects.

Separately, Notting Hill London will launch Folio – a new development in City Road comprising 71 private homes ranging from one- to three-bedroom apartments, four-bedroom houses and six commercial units.

The top floors will feature eight apartments that come with additional luxuries.

According to a Knight Frank report, City Road could see property values rise 36 percent by 2016, one of the fastest in London. This is expected to drive interest towards the project.

The Folio will be launched at an exhibition at Windows West, Four Seasons Singapore, from 5 to 7 October.
