Two reserve list sites in Jurong, one residential and the other a hotel site were launched for sale by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) yesterday.
Zoned for residential use, the first site at Jalan Jurong Kechil (pictured) has a land area of around 1.02-ha and a gross floor area (GFA) of 14,200 sq m with a lease option of 30, 45 or 60 years.
The URA received an application from a developer to launch the site’s tender on 5 September, committing a minimum bid of S$23.96 million.
Apart from condominiums or flats, the successful developer has the flexibility to develop the site for retirement housing.
Meanwhile, the hotel site at Jurong Town Hall Road received an application from a developer to launch the tender with a minimum bid of S$101.988 million.
With a land area of 0.9-ha and a GFA of 19,000 sq m, the site could be developed into a hotel with a distinctive garden setting and views of Jurong Lake.
The tender for the residential and hotel sites will close on 15 and 20 November respectively. URA will select the successful tenderer based on the bid price only.
