Commercial property expert CommercialGuru has joined forces with Far East Organization to organise a talk on the benefits of investing in commercial properties.
The talk will be held tomorrow at SBFC’s sales gallery along Choon Guan Street opposite Tanjong Pagar MRT station.
Market experts will share their insights on commercial property investment. For instance, Roy Chong (pictured), Head of Business Space for PropNex Realty will speak on: “Is Commercial Real Estate Overheated? Have you missed the boat?” LoanGuru’s head Desmond Chua will tackle: “Commercial property loan trend and interest rate outlook – How do you position yourself in this market?”
This seminar comes at a time when there has been a notable shift in investor interest towards commercial property following the recent introduction of cooling measures in the residential market. In fact, recent commercial property launches have recorded strong take up rates.
In an earlier report, Toby Dodd, Singapore Country Manager at Cushman & Wakefield, stated that “strong investment demand is likely to remain, given the sound economy, ample liquidity, low interest rates and a lack of alternative investments. Investors’ risk appetite will likely continue under these fundamentals.”
In particular, office, retail and overseas properties unaffected by the property curbs will record strong demand.
