PropertyGuru recently hit a record one million listings and also crossed the 30,000 mark for agent subscribers advertising on its regional websites, further cementing its status as Asia’s leading property portal.

In a statement, the company said the milestone was achieved through continued innovation and commitment towards improving the business of agents.

Several features have been introduced to enhance the quality of listings, including the recently launched Transactor tool, as well as a new listing quality system and a floor plan database in Singapore. As a result, improvements have been seen in both the listing volume and user experience of website visitors.

At the same time, several seminars and networking events were organised which have been popular with agents, allowing them to discuss trends in the property market with key industry players to gain business insights.

Steve Melhuish (pictured), CEO of PropertyGuru said, “Our strategy towards our agents has always been driven by the aim of empowering them to become more influential in the property search process by enabling them to widen their exposure, becoming more informed, and improving their efficiency.”

He added: “These growth figures are a testament of the trust and confidence the agents as well as property seekers have in us, and we will continue to build on this relationship and fulfil each and every of our stakeholders’ needs.”
