Only 777 non-landed units were sold below $1 million in Q3 2014, according to a recent report by DTZ.

This translates to 31 percent of all non-landed units purchased in the quarter, dropping from the 41 percent of non-landed units transacted below $1 million in Q2.

483 out of these 777 units, or 62%, were in the primary market.

The biggest number of new units sold for less than $1 million in Q3 are mainly located in suburban areas. The Panorama (pictured) topped the list with 57 units, while Coco Palms, City Gate, and The Skywoods sold 35, 31, and 26 units respectively. The Santorini, on the other hand sold 20 units within the price range.

Between 55 to 85 percent of the units purchased below the $1 million price band in these developments were bought by buyers with HDB addresses, the report said.
