To provide developers and home buyers with more housing options, the HDB and URA announced on Thursday that three residential sites will be released for sale in March, which could yield about 1,300 units.
The sites are being released under the 1H2014 Government Land Sales (GLS) Programme and are offered on a 99-year lease.
A residential plot at Margaret Drive will be made available through the reserve list today. Measuring 4,809.8 sqm, it is expected to yield around 275 units.
The land parcel is located within an established residential estate and close to Commonwealth MRT station and the Ayer Rajah Expressway.
Meanwhile, two executive condominium (EC) sites at Yishun Street 51 are being launched under the confirmed list. Parcel A has a land area of 17,965 sqm, while Parcel B is slightly larger at 18,264 sqm. Both sites could generate over 1,000 homes.
The tender for both EC sites will close on 22 May.
