New Aussie properties to tempt Singapore buyers.

Demand for Australian property remains strong, particularly in the north-east state of Queensland, with two residential projects from Brisbane and the Gold Coast being exhibited in Singapore this weekend (16-17 August).

Comprising 195 residential units, Canterbury Towers in Brisbane is the third stage of a AUD$450 million mixed-use development called Central Village Fortitude Valley. The interiors of all the apartments come with high-end fittings and appliances.

Facilities include a multi-million dollar man-made beach and pool, gymnasium and high-tech security.

Developed by Metro Property Development, the 19-level tower consists of retail shops on the ground floor and 153 parking lots. The entire development is also near the city centre while shopping, dining and nightlife options are a short walk away.

The price is open to negotiation.

Organised by South East Capital, the exhibition for Canterbury Towers will be held at the Regent Hotel from 10am to 6pm on both days. There will also be informative talks about the state of Brisbane’s property market, why it is the current choice for investors and how to maximise your opportunity with the Australian dollar and current interest rates.

Canterbury Towers is expected to be completed in 2016.

Meanwhile, a Gold Coast property launch will be showcased at the GPS Showroom at Lucky Plaza this Saturday and the Hilton Hotel on Sunday from 11am to 7pm daily.

Organised by GPS Alliance and Ray White New Projects, prices for the freehold Outrigger Resort and Hotel – Silver Sea start from AUD$120,000 (S$139,300), and the development promises guaranteed returns of six percent.

Located in the centre of Surfers Paradise, the resort project is just 100 metres from the beach and the fully-furnished rooms offer ocean and city views.

The hotel features concierge and room service facilities, a pool, restaurant and bar, and conference rooms.
