Getting the measure of the cooling measures

Singapore’s leading real estate portal PropertyGuru recently hosted a property seminar and networking event to promote synergy amongst key client groups whilst engaging them with talks on pertinent industry issues such as the government’s cooling measures.

Held on 21 August at Carnivore in Dempsey Road, industry thought-leaders such as Associate Professor Sing Tien Foo from the Real Estate Department of NUS, KEO of ERA, Eugene Lim and Marc Leong, SVP of Maybank (Consumer Lending Business) shared their expert views, shedding light on future predictions in terms of the regulations.

“I think it is always good to have interactions and to hear different views and to learn from each other. Today’s session is very successful in bringing people from different interests, different backgrounds to come together to network and build up relationships and share information.

“As what PropertyGuru is trying to do, sharing of information is very valuable in this market as it improves efficiency and reduces friction,” stated Prof Sing.

The event closed with further networking amongst attendees with PropertyGuru’s CEO & Co-founder Steve Melhuish expressing his gratitude for the ongoing support from clients.

“I’d like to say thank you very much to all who came today and for all the support despite the rain and also for all your support of PropertyGuru all these years,” he said.
