Castlewood villas get star power from celebrities

Singapore-based developer Castlewood Group continues to tap on some star power as it sealed a deal with reality TV show, The Apartment, as the exclusive property partner of their latest season, The Apartment: Celebrity Edition.

The new partnership will see 12 celebrity contestants competing to win US$100,000 for their chosen charity as they unleash their creativity to design each room of the villas from scratch and impress the judges.

As part of the deal, Castlewood Group has provided each of the four celebrity teams with a luxurious villa from their latest development in Phuket, Nikki Beach Hotel and Spa, which is slated to be open late 2014. Contestants will have to transform the villas within their allocated budget and timeframe.

Chris Comer, CEO of Castlewood Group said, “Having a veritable who’s who of Asian and global celebs unleash their creativity to transform our villas into their own unique visions is going to be great to watch, especially in the backdrop of Phuket. The region has gone through an almighty transformation as it has developed into a global tourist hub, so we are not only delighted to showcase our flagship project, but also the true beauty of Phuket.”

Consisting of ten episodes, the show will debut on StarWorld across more than 20 territories later in the year. This series, produced by Imagine Group, will introduce a new format with a number of plot twists.
