The Landmark Yangon Myanmar mixed use development

Archetype Group, one of the top 200 architectural firms in the world that specialises in a variety of projects ranging from luxury hospitality properties to mixed-use high-ride developments, is Executive Architect for a new project in the heart of Yangon, Myanmar.

The Landmark Yangon (pictured) is a mixed-use complex and will be located on the site of the former Myanmar Railway Headquarters, a heritage building and a well-known landmark in the city.

The entire project will be 240,000 sqm and comprises a retail podium, two office towers, a 5-star hotel/serviced apartment development and one executive apartment tower.

Based on the size of the project, the Landmark Yangon will be the biggest development in downtown Yangon and one of the largest in the country.

Archetype also announced that two of its iconic project management projects in Southeast Asia have reached significant milestones in the past few months.

Earlier this year the top of the core wall of the MahaNakhon Tower in central Bangkok was reached, now establishing it as the highest building structure in Thailand.

At the same time in Jakarta, the office building and St Regis hotel of the Capital Place project reached the topping-off stage.
