Four new members have been appointed to the board of Singapore Land Authority (SLA) by Law and Foreign Affairs Minister K Shanmugam.
Tan Boon Khai, Chief Executive of SLA, has been appointed for a three-year term beginning on 1 May, a statement from the agency said.
The other three were assigned to a term of two years commencing on 1 August.
They are Mok Wei Wei, Managing Director of W Architects; Philip Yuen, Chief Executive Officer of Deloitte Singapore and Dr Chong Yoke Sin, Chief Executive Officer of Integrated Health Information Systems.
Meanwhile, three board members have been reappointed to a term of two years starting on 1 August. They include Walter Fernandez, Editor-in-Chief of MediaCorp and Managing Director of MediaCorp Press; Lai Huen Poh, Managing Director of RSP Architects Planners & Engineers and Tham Kui Seng, Non-Executive Director of Straits Trading Company.
As for outgoing members, Vincent Hoong, former Chief Executive of SLA, ended his term of office on 31 March, while five other board members will complete their current terms of office on 31 July.
They are Chai Chin Loon, Director (Security Technology, Advisory & Projects) of Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore; Steven Phan, Area Managing Partner of Asia-Pacific, Ernst & Young; Wong Mun Summ, Founding Director of WOHA Architects; Yeo Lian Sim, Special Adviser of Singapore Exchange Limited and Elaine Lim, Director of Stamford Corporate Services.
