The government announced this morning that four confirmed list sites and 13 reserve list sites will be released under the second half 2015 Government Land Sales (GLS) Programme.

The four private residential sites on the confirmed list could generate about 2,130 units, and are located at Alexandra View (Parcel A), Clementi Avenue 1, Siglap Road and Yio Chu Kang Road.

The Yio Chu Kang Road site is slated to be developed into a 520-unit EC project.

In a statement, URA said this new supply will be added to the existing pipeline supply of around 84,000 private homes, including ECs.

Meanwhile, the reserve list comprises eight private residential sites at Stirling Road, New Upper Changi Road/Bedok South Avenue 3 (Parcel B), Bartley Road/Jalan Bunga Rampai, Lorong Liew Lian, Tampines Avenue 10 (Parcel C), Margaret Drive, Jalan Kandis and Sumang Walk (EC development).

Also on the list are two commercial & residential sites at Holland Road and Bukit Batok West Avenue 6, two commercial sites at Beach Road and Woodlands Square, and a White site at Central Boulevard in Marina Bay.

When developed, the White site will complete the streetblock along Shenton Way and enhance pedestrian connectivity in the existing Marina Bay office cluster.

The reserve list sites could yield about 5,695 private residential units and 275,580 sqm GFA of commercial space, mostly for office use.

URA added that the supply of private housing and commercial space from the GLS programme, together with supply from projects in the pipeline, will be able to meet the demand over the next few years.
