As part of plans to expand its regional business, property consultancy JLL has hired Jonathan Davis (pictured) as National Director of Business Operations for Southeast Asia, effective from 1 March 2016.

In this newly-created position, Davis will report to Chris Fossick, Managing Director for Singapore and Southeast Asia, and work closely with JLL’s regional country heads, initially focusing on building the residential strategy in Southeast Asia.

He will also play an important role in JLL’s new Malaysia business, in addition to working on the implementation of technology to drive business productivity.

Davis has extensive experience in Asia and in the residential sector, spending more than 15 years in China, in companies like CBRE, Morgan Stanley, Sun Hung Kai Properties, and most recently Cushman & Wakefield, where he served as Managing Director for China.

“Jonathan’s appointment comes at a crucial time as JLL’s Southeast Asia business has grown significantly over the past five years, with revenue growth of over 50 percent and headcount increasing by over 30 percent during the same period,” said Fossick.

“We are excited to have him join us and are confident that his experience and expertise will serve the firm well as we continue to grow and expand our business the region.”
