Large Rooms and Space
Great layouts with larger than average rooms. Great pool, usable gym and functional bbq and kids play. No tennis facilities. Well maintained and great location -

Best in the Vicinity
My wife and I took sometime to search for an ideal condo in the vicinity. She’s a great fan of the beach, but most if not all of the beach facing apartments also come with the noise and air pollution from the expressway. Noise and air pollution are a big NO to us so have kind of given up our hopes in finding a sea facing unit until we chance upon Amber residences. There’s exactly a unit which allows us to enjoy the sea view yet without the road noise (thanks to the low rise building in front). -

Massive apartments
Great location, upcoming met (but not needed as 10+ bus lines outside), 5 mins walk to beach, Parkway, i12. -

Good Facilities but needs the new MRT to open
Facilities are really resort like, which has to be expected of a lot of the newer launches. However, i find the location a bit bad (for now) since there's no mrt nearby. -

Probably the best in the area
My husband and I took quite a while to find our ideal home. We wanted only D15 as we have had friends staying here. It's close to town and yet near to the beach and with plenty of amenities. We visited and considered several nearby projects before we finally settled down for Amber Residences. It's a small quiet project but comes generously with a 50m lap pool and gym. It offers us fantastic view and yet without the freeway noise. I love my balcony overseeing the sea. The other projects are too far away from Parkway Mall and the beach, and I didn't consider them. -

Wonderful Project
I have gone searching for a unit around the vicinity and found Amber Residences to have the best quality so far. The materials used in the kitchen are fantastic and so are the wardrobes and doors. However, the most of the units do not come with a sea view which the neighboring project has to offer. The balconies are excellent for certain stacks (think its stack 1 or 2). The rest has blocked views without privacy. Good for those who appreciate high quality finishings and prefer a quieter stay. Not ideal for those who prefer a community style living with many neighbors around. -

looks good, smells bad
cockroach infestation, pool having to be closed for 2 months after just 3 years in use for repair, bad smell in various units and lift areas, bad wiring causing some lights to be rewired, leaking pipes, damp in lift areas, yellow water due to weak water pump, and i could hear the baby cry next door all night. But the balconies are best in the city, it looks good, has supermarket nearby and east coast park, and the security is nice and helpful. -

Great Stay
I have stayed in Amber Residences for 1 year and I must say the experience was wonderful. It must be one of the most conveniently located residential area i ever stayed in Singapore. There are many bus services right at the door-step. Traveling to town is just a matter of 8 to 10 min. Not forgeting its just min's stroll to East Coast Park via a underpass, where you will get to the beach, sports tracks and some restaurants. My favourite would be the nearby Parkway Parade which is just 5 min's walk away. Over there, I get to do my groceries at Cold Storage or Giant HyperMart. There are plenty of eateries there too and i havent gotten the chance to explore the entire complex though. A little downside would be the massive constructions nearby, which could get pretty noisy in the day time. Other wise it was a pleasure sitting at the balcony enjoying the sea breeze and view. -

Excellent Quality
This must be one of the best projects i have ever seen in terms of the quality and finishings. Very conveniently located with walking distance to Parkway Parade and i12 shopping malls. But only stack 1 and 2 will have seaviews, the rest will not enjoy much privacy. -

Amber Residences
went to this condo last week. very impress with the place the moment i went in. a very nice project with good layout. there are 2 swimming pools, with the children pool on the lower level and the second level is for adult. the club hse is nice too but the gym is small thou...but hey, there is only 114 units. there are 3 spa pools at one corner....too bad it is quite close to next door...so not sure abt the privacy. one block with 6 units per floor. each come with private lift lobby. even the smallest unit of 1162 sq ft....it does not seem small at all. the best stack is unit 1 and unit 2.....cos this is the only 2 units that come with sea-view in future. cos when silversea is ready.....it will block out unit 3 to unit 6. the quality of the unit is good....not lousy workmanship like some other condo that i have seem so far......and no wastage of space like some newer top condo. asking price average 1500+....is this the right time to buy or should u wait....that is the question u have to ask yourself. -
