  Shabby and ill kept

  I saw th previous review and thought that this apartment would be ideal for my living. Unfortunately this development does not seem to be well kept. The drive was is an awkward turn, with no proper reception area, the pool was dirty when I went to view one of the apartments. The saving grace is that the units here are well-sized with spacious living rooms. The bedrooms, however are very tiny, and it surprises me that the master bedroom is smaller than one of the other bedrooms. I will not be able to put a king size bed into the bedroom without feeling cramped. All things considered, the location is good, but not as good as Robin Road, Newton, Novena. The walking distances from Chateau le Fame to Newton is 20 minutes, and it is not a very pleasant walk because of the construction that is going on. Something to note also, Cyrstal Tower is trying to go en block, and this is directly in front of Chateau le Fame. Once the collective sale goes through, there will be heavy piling which the residents of Chateau le Fame will have to tolerate for some years. Overall, I will not recommend this development for peaceful living.

  Nice location

  I just wanted to mention I live and Cheateu Le Fame currently. Its a great location between two Cold Storages and there's a bus stop located near a close shortcut through condominiums. The complex is small and almost often, there is pool space on the weekends. Do be aware that there is a LOT of construction going on in this location right now. 3 condos are being built to the right and left of the place. While the pool is almost always readily available, its quite noisey outside. There are also no other amenities, which we believed there to be when we moved in. There's no gym or BBQ area. Again, we love the location and the condo we're in is spacious and clean. We're right near bus stops and 10-15 minutes from Newton MRT. Just be weary of all the "ammenities," and construction going on! Happy house hunting!
