Well maintained luxury condo with good locati
Very conveniently located right beside lavendar mrt, ntuc and shopping mall, and with lots of dining options, cafes and pubs, with both sea view, pool view (also overlooking a pool above aperia mall) and unblocked view for high floors. strong wind flow all year round. The condo and farcade is also well maintained, has a well maintained and equipped gym. It also has a good mcst management and low maintenance fee. Aircon at the lift lobby puts the condo a class above all the nearby condos. The management also decorates the condo for different occasion, adding to the festive vibes. Good condo facilities and landscaping expected of a good sized condo development -

Very convenient location but poor facilities
I stayed in Citylights for 2 years. The location is very convenient, close to the Lavender MRT, the PCN near the river, the city center. The Aperia mall is just across the street, same with a Fairprice. However, there are some real issues with the intercom for the lift. It calls your registered number. But you can only register 2. So if you are 3 living in your unit, not everyone can get food or anything delivered. It calls the first number for 30s before trying to call the 2nd one. So the delivery guys usually don't wait that long and leave because "no answer". The tennis court is a hell to book. You have to pay 4 SGD and the management usually does everything they can to prevent you to play. Can only book 2 hours/unit/week. If you don't book, cannot play, even if the court is available -

Good Location But Cramped Units
Citylights will likely be a good choice for many expats or city dwellers looking for a compromise between convenience and cost. Barring a few units with great views and wonderful breeze, most of your life will likely be dealing with the cramp space, reorganizing your furniture to fit the next item on your schedule. Of course, this is made up by the great life in the area, and Lavender MRT that is within 5 min. -

Fantastic view & windy. Very value for money!
Blk 80 All rooms unblocked, windy, not hot, can see Changi airport most days. Master plan when the diagonally opposite area is built up with malls and high end residential, potentially bringing up psf price at least 30-50%. Large lage 3 bedroom with larger than 1,400sqft. Rental yield and psf price keeps going up. We'll maintained gym, pool, garden, ktv, EV charging etc. Great buy. Original interior fixtures are still in v good condition! Worth buy! A lot of nice eateries nearby at very reasonable price! -

Stayed 2 years - 82 Jellicoe Road, #01-12
The Condo has great facilities but the management seems to make it difficult to use them with random or very long work. The landlord of this unit is very dishonest, I would highly recommend to stay away from this unit. -

Some issues
If you consider living in the Citylights condo, note few things that agents will not tell you: - ICA construction site - noise, dust - Kallang Gasworks remediation site - odour, noise - just Google it. Once remediation is done, the land will be sold for construction - not well maintained premises - you can judge by the dirty lobby and entrance - condo management is not responsive - there are technical issues with access cards -

Great location for public transport and exten
Spectacular unblocked water views from some units and lovely twinkly lights at night too. Location almost on the top of Lavender MRT and with a choice of bus stops that will take you just about anywhere on the island. Plentiful and varied dining options. Apartments are a good size with regular layouts. The lifts, blocks and unrenovated apartments are now looking somewhat tired although repainting of the common areas and externals is currently underway (August 2022). Pool can be busy at weekends, only 4 sunbeds available. The main downside is the constant traffic noise, and smell and significant construction noise from two large building sites in very close proximity, neither of which are near completion. On the ICA site, work often continues late into the evening/night. -

Great Location but pollution is a problem
Noise and air pollution are my biggest concerns at this time. Citylights is located just walking distance from buses and the MRT but it is stuck between two construction site. One is the remediation site for the old Kallang Gas Works which equipment are running 24/7, plus unexplained fumes. The second is the expansion of ICA which quite literally has works being done from 7am all the way to midnight. Weekends are no better. If I knew of these two issues prior I wouldn't have rented this apartment. -
