close to nature
Close to Bukit Batok and Dairy Farm nature parks. It should be pretty conveniently located once the Hume Park MRT station is up. It's situated at the foot of the hill going up to Hume Avenue, so drivers can avoid the morning car queue that snakes all the way to the top of the hill, and reach the main road more quickly. Regular layout and full facilities typical of older condos. -

Natures Lover
Apart from the Upgrading done to the condo, it is sandwiched between two "Bukit" hills. upcoming Hume Station is just right in front of the gate. And driver ease of exiting the areas to PIE in mins. -

Good value for money for its size and freehol
Good value for money for its size and freehold tenure. Expansive grounds and complete facilities. Some units offer great views of the nature reserve. -

Great place to stay, serene and convenient
I've lived for several years on Hume Avenue and read the comments below with some interest. This place is not anything like HDB, in fact the older condos such as Hillview Heights have a look and feel of the older generation of schools. Hume Park 1, thanks to repainting to a soothing beige, remains contemporary. The layout of the flats is practical and open, and space between blocks is generous, so, not like HDB. The communications tower is next to the Hillside, so Hume Park 1 is separated from the communications tower by a condo. Security provider has changed in last two years but rudeness is something that can be encountered anywhere. My suggestion is to view the condo as one of the options on Hume Avenue, rather than to decide based solely on reviews. I thought living here was convenient and serene, I got plenty of space in a 3-bedder, management is friendly and responsive, neighbours are nice, it was breezy and I enjoyed the lush greenery all round. By "convenient" I mean, there is a Cold Storage and Subway with free parking within 5 minutes at rail mall, and Hillv2 with restaurants and Starbucks. It is not new, not luxurious, but honest-to-goodness full facility condo living. And now there is an MRT station (Hillview) nearby. -

Family Friendly & Spacious
As a renter in Hume Park I you can't beat the space both inside the units and outside. Yes, the buildings are old, the lifts/entrances aren't appealing and the playground badly needs to be replaced, but the large pool and open areas are rare in SG. If you find a well-maintained or renovated unit to rent, all the better. Views of Bukit Timah and Bukit Batok nature reserves, and walking distance to top restaurants, groceries, and recreation areas make this a tranquil and convenient place to stay. -

Looks like old HDB
The facilities are so very old. The lift and the corridor looks like very old HDB style. I have viewed a number of units there, it either have blocked view that have no privacy or noisy road facing. The units there always selling at low price an could never pick up. -

Communications Tower near Hume Park
There is a communications tower near Hume park. I wonder what kind of tower is that? Imagine if its microwave, then for every day you enjoy the nature, you loose one day of your life. -

Nature lover
good place to stay who love nature. Personally,like the environment. Went to see a flat and surprisingly notice that security guard is very rude. -

Ridiculously Noisy
Ridiculously noisy cos of the construction. And the Mgmt Committee...well you've got to stay there to know. -
