Great place to live
Kew Green is a family focused condo, where the children knock on the doors of their friends asking them out to play. Kew offers a safe environment for young children and has 3 pools, playgrounds and a large field to keep them occupied. Recently the games room was upgraded which has table tennis, professional pool table, foosball and air hockey. The gym was also upgraded and now contains extensive equipment to meet everyone’s needs. Kew came into its own during covid as the units are so spacious they can accommodate both children and parents all working from home. The community is fantastic in celebrating various events and supporting each other when needed, eg missing a vital ingredient for that night’s dinner! The soon to be open Kew MRT will be a huge bonus. -

Decaying property with bad facilities and wat
Stayed here for many years, some years back. Many units here have bad water leaks from the roof or from neighbors roof that is impossible to rectify. The walls and roof are filled with sand and are very porous. So many have had their kitchen or living room flooded after heavy rain downpours. Water sealing and expensive renovations still can’t fix. On top of that the property is showing it’s age and the management fee is not worth or. Many illegal structures that are a life threatening hazard that MCST refuses to fix. Tenants are loud and obnoxious, kids constantly damaging the grounds. Bad smells and it’s built on top of a former Malay cemetery. On top of that rumor has it there have been multiple unnatural deaths on the property. Major rat and cockroach infestation problems and mosquitos -

Large townhouses great for reno good location
Kew Green offers a unique opportunity for foreigners to buy landed property w/out approval. Condo amenities, large units. A bit dated but good bones for renovation- kitchen ceilings can go really high -

Great Place for Kids
After much researching, I bought into Kew in 2013. One of the primary reasons was I needed 4 bedrooms, so in terms of value, it was high square footage, relative to low cost psf. The unit was in great condition and needed very little work done to it. The other reason was that this is a very kid-friendly condo. There are a lot of great families that make this a wonderful place for kids. Because expats can buy here without obtaining approvals, there are a lot of folks from all over, making it a friendly and diverse atmosphere. Many owner-occupiers means that a lot of renovation to the units is resulting in some amazing homes with stunning kitchens. Some of the units have roof top Jacuzzis, others have transformed their roofs into amazing entertainment areas. I understand there will be an MRT line built close to here in the next few years and expect the units to appreciate - they are a good buy right now, all things considered. This is definitely a family condo, good for owners with pets as well. Despite all the kids, it is peaceful and quiet too. There is a soccer field where they generally hang out and play ball, and plenty of play grounds and swimming to keep them busy. -

Resident Kew Green Agent
As an Estate Agent who can choose from many condos or landed houses, I live at Kew Green.... Perfect balance and harmony for space, condo facilities, smaller community, townhouse concept. Amazing value to buy and rentals as close to Siglap, United World College, beach, quiet neighbourhood. Kids have the most fun with 3 pools, 2 playgrounds, 1 multi purpose field, scooter lane, clubhouse, kids room (new), gym, and good mix of foreign owners (condo status), and Asian families. -

Best place in singapore for families
We're expats and recently bought this condo, and absolutely love it. The houses are big, you get a lot of space for the price however the main attraction for me is the strong community in the condo. There are lots of families with children of all ages, and the condo residents organize numerous activities from weekly yoga, boot camp, friday meals by the pool to yearly xmas parties, haloween parties, CNY etc. Everyone is very friendly. Probably not the place for people with no kids, but if you have a family you can't beat it. -

Reminds of the crooked house
Nice mix of locals and expats, great location near to EC park, ECP and airport. But every time I visit friends living there, it reminds me of the nursey rhyme about the crooked house. The bedrooms and baths are a nice size, but the living, dining area and weird shaped kitchen all squashed onto the ground floor. Hate the way you walk up narrow stairs from the carpark which is the usual way in. Hall way is narrow and cramped and the units I've seen dark, unless you find one of the larger corner units. Fine if have a family with teenagers who spend time in their rooms, pretty poor for the more elderly due to the sheer no. of steps. Doesn't encourage much family interaction. PS. those stairs down to Upper East coast road and the bus stops are treacherous if carrying kids or bags.... -

An Victorian Townhouse in SG ....
We were very impressed with the units at Kew Green. Lease hold with 84 years left and prices moving up as people start to see the value of buying a town house instead of an apartment. Units vary between 3000 sq feet to 4000 sq feet. 4 - 6 bed rooms with a beautiful roof-top terrace and patio. Lots of storage space. 4 -5 bathrooms + a helper's room + a study + a balcony. What makes Kew even more unique is that it is zoned as a condominium unlike most other cluster houses and this means that foreigners do not need to get approval to purchase. As the "the word" gets out about this units, the prices are moving up. A park connector to East Coast beach is just across the street and the rumor is the Eastern Regional Line MRT will be coming up just across the street where the bus interchange is. Great rental yields as units can rent between $6,000 to $8,000 per month. ECP access is 2 min away and it take 15 minutes to get to the CBD area. The 4 th university (SUTD) is 7 min away and Laguna and TMCC gold clubs are 5 min away. Kids have a safe and fun environment to grow up in and residents are friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth checking out! -

Kew Green - great value
Very jealous of Kew Green residents - close to both the city (15 mins on clear run) and airport (10 mins), secure community... and I mean community with a very friendly group of neighbours. Extremely kid-friendly (safe, playgrounds, 3 x pools) and it will be 10 mins to UWC East campus when it completes in 2011. Just across from the East Coast Park, up the road from some super eateries, close to Cold Storage at Eastwood etc etc etc. Get the drift? It's a GREAT place to stay -
