    Nice and cosy place.

    Its located in a very serene neighbourhood. Close to nature, e.g. bukit timah nature reserve at your door step, yet with a shopping centre just right opposite the block. Near to MRT too.

    Tranquil, Next to HillV2, Hillview MRT

    One of the newer condos within walking distance to Hillview MRT,HillV2, supermart. Well connected to gd schools along Bt Timah by MRT. Breath taking view to Bt Timah Hill from my rental unit.

    Major Regret

    When i bought it, i was under the delusion that since it's Kingsford's very 1st project in Singapore, they'd want to do an excellent job to secure their reputation for future projects. Sadly i made a gamble and i lost big time. I sold my unit at a major loss and I know of another owner who did so too. If the development really has that great a potential, why would we bite the bullet and take such a shot to our wallets? Fact is, the developer could not hand over the units on time because they failed their BCA inspection and I've heard from industry sources that to rectify the major or bulk of it, it would take time and money which the developer is unlikely to want to spend. Other than the fact that the units have high ceilings and are bright and airy, there is nothing else positive to say about this condo. The workmanship and facilities are really poor. I'm still upset that the greedy and highly irresponsible developer has cheated us of our hard-earned money.

    Breathtaking Serenity

    The view from my high-floor balcony facing the greenery side is breathtakingly serene. The unblocked specular view gives me a precious tranquillity of mind away from the hustle and bustle of city life. This is the perfect home for me and I love my new home!

    Good location

    Went to see few units on pretext of renting one, and walked around for about an hour around the common areas as well as the two levels of carpark. Pros: Unit layout spacious with high ceiling. Nice views from most units. Air con ledge not too big. Balcony bit too big.Quiet surrounds.6 mins walk to most reliable MRT line which brings you to many useful stations. Nice but expensive supermarket opposite. Cons: Horrid workmanship. Rough, looks unpolished. Cheap materials in common areas, especially the wooden walkway around the pool. Lift lobbies like industrial estates of the 1980s. Playground and fitness stations not worth a look. Saw many rat burrows amidst the poorly-landscaped areas. No side gate to MRT. The only side gate is just beside the main entrance (silly location).

    A lot of unpleasantries

    I know many owners try not to speak out, boz this will devalue their property. My friend bought this Condo last year and collected key not long before. There are a lot of quality defects and the developer seemed using cheap material.

    3 Months after TOP.

    As per Ms Lin pointed out, intially there were some units that were affected by defects. The developer has been very cooperative and is resolving with the residents for those identified defects. Most of the materials have arrived and they are now currently replacing those defects. Overall, the units are very well and efficient layout with good ceiling heights of 3.35m. The greenery view from this condo is quite impressive Although the there are some more work around the common area that needs some improvement, the developer has been helpful and willing and in due should be rectified. Condo management has been friendly and helpful, opposite Hill V2 has Eateries including a Michelin star Italian restaurant, and the new community centre has food court. Walking distance to Hillview MRT.

    Great environment to stay in

    You get to wake up to concert of bird chirping in the morning and surrounded by greenery and serenity. The temperatures here are cooler which are great for nice afternoon naps. You are disconnected from buzz of the citylife in this estate and yet to get the enjoy convenient amenities at HillV2 and Railway Mall. The facilities are just adequate and may not be as elaborate as some of the other estates. However, the surrounding environment you get is rare in Singapore. If you are after nature and peace, this is the place for you.

    Peaceful

    Good location. 5-8 min walk from HVP station. Hillview is on a Downtownline which means it's near to town Bugis! few bus-stops / 1 stop to Beauty World Food centre Stone's throw to Nature / Cashew Trail / Bukit Timah Hill Near Community Centre with foodcourt. Near BukitPanjang and away from crowded and noisy roads and places Really high ceiling Spaces within unit are well designed, no wastage of space or weird dead-space in unit Most importantly, neighbours are also very nice

    Fair review on HVP

    Collected my keys in March. The height of my unit is very good, and the size of unit doesnt look that small after all :) To be objective, there are indeed some defects but management was really helpful and rectified most the defects in a timely fashion. I'm facing the Mindef side and the view is impressive. This is my 3rd unit and I have 2 others facing the unblocked Binjai Park at Dunearn/Bk Timah Rd. Hillview Peak's view is the best because it's really tranquil and scenic - compared to my current 2 which can be noisy because I'm facing the roads. Re: Termites. - It was found in a particular ground floor unit (and the mgt has rectified the situation and kept it under control) Re: Cracks on wall - Obviously remarked by one who has never stayed in high-rise apartments. Some minor hairline cracks are normal in walls and any contractors can tell you these can be remedied. In my unit, I dont have any cracks. (Check your glasses to see if the lens cracked) Re. Seepage/Leakage I did experience some slight seepage (likewise in one of my current units). In HVP's case, mgt was quick enough to pump PC chemical to seal up defect. And now all's fine. Re. Legal Actions against developer Nothing has been firmed up. Suing the developer is the last resort and we believe in addressing issues in an amicable manner. Good thing is the residents in HVP are informed, wise and sensible - and definitely will not resort to drastic move that result in lose-lose situation. Real and sensible potential buyers will not hoodwinked by malicious and toxic comments posted by 'owners' who may not even be real owners. If it's really that bad, it reflects the decision making competency of that particular buyer(s). A shrewd buyer will do enough ground work and exercise good decision before buying any property. After all, HVP is near the nature. It will be worrying if there are no birds, butterflies and bees around.
