Mera Springs
Located at edge of CTE, some units may hear some noise from there. Two tall blocks with reasonable facilities. Units are very good size. With some 2 bed room units from about 1066 sf -

Undervalued Indeed
Yishun 99-year leased hold condo is currently selling @ $1300 psf. Yes there is Yishun MRT station and North Point mall nearby. But Merasprings is Freehold near Novena MRT station, United Sq, Velocity and Sq2. Ther are primary schools like ACS and SJI within 1km. Also Cambridge market and Food centre nearby. Only conclusion - sellers are too kind :) -

Undervalued gem
Rented a unit a few years ago when I was last posted here. I had been an expat for a number of years by the time I stayed at M.Springs. Couldn't (and can't) believe how undervalued this ppty is. $1.3/1.4k psf here compared to almost $2.1k psf across the road ! Facilities are good - my family and I loved the 30m pool immensely, and the gym was almost always private. And the location, in the middle of Newton/Little India/Orchard, extremely convenient for the city-based expat. Most frequent comments are proximity to the highway, but we lived at blk 83 and didn't find this a problem. One gets used to it, and we found the sound-proofing very good. Good quality of materials and workmanship as well, compared to the newer developments. -

Mera Springs
This is well located close to amenities and the wonderful Pek Kio market. The compound itself is nicely designed, breezy with a lovely big pool. The one bugbear however is that the MCST and management committee is rather slack, so getting anything done or addressed by them is painful and takes a long time. -

Wonderful Investment
Bought a 4 bedder in this condo. As it is on a high floor we are able to enjoy a panaromic unblocked view of the city skyline esp the Marina area. Beautiful view especially at night. Able to enjoy view of fireworks at festive season. Also very windy. No need for air con at all. Location is superb. Short Walking distance to Novena NS line and Little India NE as well as the upcoming downtown line at Little India. Wet market, superb hawker food at Pek Kio Market, United Square, Velocity and Square 2 as well as 24 hour Mustapha just 5 to 7 minutes walk away, Orchard Road Centepoint, 313 Somerset ,Singapura Plaza and Newton Food Centre just a 15 - 20 minutes walk, Plenty of covered car park lots, a huge swimming pool and a well equipped gym. Even though the CTE expressway is just next to to the condo the noise is bearable. Small price to pay for such a fantastic location. Absolutely love this place.! -

Pros and Cons
We rent a 2 bed unit in block 83 That block can be very noisy because of the Expressway and dusty because of all the construction on the opposite side of the expressway. We don't get to use our balcony because of these reasons. quality of fixtures and fittings is pretty low compared to our old condo. we've been having major problems with the hot water system. Despite these problems we do like living there. The location is excellent and the pool area lovely -

Good buy .... up and coming area.
Bright and airy. On the side of newton which is less congested, yet near to united square and MRT. The other side is already too packed and crowded with condos. Glad we bought it. -

choice investment
Great buy after a long time of searching and research. Bought a 1044sf unit, facing the pool and definitely no noise from the highway! Absolutely no regrets as it is being rented with good returns. Suitable for all ages, comprising a gymn, built up bbq facilites, with a big swimming pool and even an outdoor jaccuzi.!!!!!!! -
