Iconic building in Lavender
The development is strategically located close to Lavender MRT and various amenities. There is a wet market just beside the building and NTUC at Kitchener complex. Getting to City Hall MRT takes less than 10 mins. While there are no tennis/ basketball courts, it is quite a pleasant surprise for the development to feature an infinity pool on the 10th floor given that it was constructed almost 10 years ago. On a recent viewing, maintenance works were carried out on the playground and walls. Facilities are well maintained for a building of this age. -

A lot of upcoming constructions around
The condo is strategically located very close to MRT Lavender. NTUC is also close, as well as several food courts and wet-market. But construction of Kallang Riverside condo has already began, which will ruin sleep until Dec 2019 and view for the rest of the time. -

Southbank
pretty modern condo design. One can walk to Lavender MRT station, has nice views of the Sports Hub as well as neighbourhood amenities at its doorstep -

Great location and wonderful management
We've been staying at Southbank for almost two years. The location couldn't be better. There is a convenient wet market right downstairs, a fair price nearby and a newly opened cold storage. It's close to the MRT station and you can get a taxi anytime you want from North Bridge Road. Super close to city centre and the heart of Kampung Glam. The pool is beautiful, residents are friendly and the management is so kind and helpful. -

Great Investment, Absolutely Convenient
Southbank's location is fantastic. A few mins. walk to MRT; bus stops are just around the corner. If you want local food, there is the food market next door. If you prefer air conditioned local food, it's just right opposite at V Hotel. IF not, you can get western, Arab, Indian, Swedish, Japanese, Thai, you name it, all within walking distance. Supermarket, cinema, shopping, etc is all one or two MRT stops away. If you are sick, even Raffles Hospital is one MRT stop away. Many condos in the city are very congested. The swimming pool is surrounded by office buildings. It is not relaxing at all. Southbank has what you can get in the city but it gives you a more relaxing home feeling. Yes, the finishes are not top notch but neither are some of the condos in the prime area. It is white paint afterall. But if you stay on the high floor, it is very windy and you can actually see fireworks if the apartment is facing the right direction. You can walk to the new sport hubs, exercise around the river. In fact, you can jog to Marina Bay Sands along the river. This is a great investment and absolutely convenient. -

Southbank at its Best.
I have to put in my fair inputs after hearing some unsavoury comments here. The build quality is good by UOL, they deliver quality workmanship. Since when do elevators have air-con ? A function room is not meant as study rooms or for tuition lessons. Perhaps their peeve is probably due to the restricted access to facilities floor to conduct tuitions. The residents have no problem with that.It is great that the security is good here. It is not substantiated that things breakdown often at Southbank. At Southbank, you enjoy all round views, the conveniences of a wet market & other amenities. The best part is 5 mins walk to Lavender MRT and Kallang Riverside walk. You cannot ask for more. -

One of the best life time investments
If you are looking for one great investment in life, southbank offers you one. Its a perfect blend of all features you should look for before buying a property. Recently TOP, Great Location ( North Bridge); Awesome unblocked 360 degree view of Kallang basin, Sea, Flyer, Sands, Bay Gardens, City, Orchard; Proximity to MRT stop (Lavender); Two MRT stops from City, 5 mins Bus ride to City Hall; Multi story parking, Infinity pool on 10th floor, world class construction...and what not!! I don't think this project is hyped at all - I would say it's the right time to hit the jackpot - A very wise investment which should give you good returns all through life...It's the dark horse to watch out for!! -

Not a good investment at All!!
Well don't know what the hype is for this condo since only some units get the great Kallang Basin view and more Condos would be launched on the Kallang Riverside Park side. Riverine by the Park is better and when that part is developed and more condos launched, better potential. Rochor side will be the 2nd choice compared to the Kallang side across the river. Also can consider the Dakota Residences or Waterbank@Dakota. That whole area has a huge Masterplan by URA. -

WINDY SOUTHBANK WITH GREAT VIEW
It is very windy and has a great view towards the sea, bay, future sportshub and even as far as the control tower of Changi Airport. It has great potential given the location (5 mins walk to Lavender MRT stn - two stops from city hall]; eateries and wet market just next door; SMU; and waterloo and rocher area with URA plan to have a makeover for arts, etc, in the second half of this year.) -

Long term investment
If you are looking for investment of good rental yield and capital gain, this project will probably be one of the best. However, sellers are greedy by nature so as the buyers. I advise if you work for financial sum carefully, you may offer 1400-1500psf for a 2 bedroom unit. I think those seller asking 1800psf can be ignored and we should be upset. Please move your focus to Dakota Residences or the new project called Waterbank at Dakota. More reasonable price of high quality of living. -
