High density, typical of most EC. Facilities
High density, typical of most EC. Facilities are slightly below par but still doable. Internal unit layout are efficient and functional. Little or no wastage of space. -

Security guards
The security guards here are very rude when I mean rude they just keep staring at me which makes me feel very uncomfortable I would not recommend for people to live here when I ask them nicely why they keep looking they threaten me that they will call the police for harassment -

The Quintet
Good and nice place to live peacefully. Walking distance to Yew Tee MRT It is near to the park connecter Pools are big and good facilities also. Low maintenance fees -

Over price?
Agreed with what the Mr. Nk boy commented below. Quintet is located in YewTee and not even in CCK core area. Looking at URA website for the last few transaction, it is traded at > $800/psf (for 3 BRs), this is too high from my viewpoint. New launch EC in Woodlands/Sembawang/Punggol/Sengkang area are ave ~ $800/psf. Furthermore, government will be developing more in those new launch areas whereas CCK has no much announcement made on future development. I feel a more reasonable price should be 10~15% lower. Plus this is a 6~7 yrs EC already. -

Over price??
Visited few units...and when I looked at the last transacted price, my conclusion is it is over price. this is an old EC (7 yrs) and located at west/CCK area. Comparing all the new launch EC recently, there are mostly launch at ave $800/psf..esp like Punggol area which we will be "in" place for future. so how come YewTee justify for also $800psf? My own guess is that many who does not know the market well just anyhow buy... :-) Good for existing owner who is looking to sell. -

Great for everything
I think nowadays it is very hard to find condo which is: -relatively new, -near mrt with affordable price. -quiet and peaceful. -less crowded and congested. -all units facing pool. -mostly family oriented -close to amenities and lots of schools. -well maintained and good management team. -new face/painting end of 2013. -contemporary outlook with resort living -you can enjoy the pool view, mountain view and forest view, depends on which block you staying. -sheltered all the way when you walk to mrt. -surrounded by condos and DBSS. -most of the units NS facing. - Near kje and check point for those who drive. -two entrances and two exits. -

Good Condo and well run by the new Management
The condo will have repainting works carry out and to be completed by end of this year. The management has done well to push for it. There are also many family activities organised by the NC and MC together. Very lovely condo to stay and the proportion of Singaporean resident is still higher here compare to many others. The price has been moving up since i bought it 2 years ago. The current price is not expensive comparing to new private condo and new EC are already hitting $1.1 to 1.4m mark for similar size. The ample parking lots in Quintet and also located near to MRT are good factors. I hope people visiting Quintet and leave bad comments, please reflect on your own upbringing. As for the previous com-mentor, you come here as a guest and start badmouthing Quintet shows your immaturity. If you not happy with expensive condo please go back to the Philippines. Staying in Quintet can only get better. -

COOL QUINTET
Past 3 weeks,we have visited 3 to 4 bedroom sizes,our summary gave us good feeling,no complaints.Facing pool unit is great for ground + low floor, right at the end block, more windy, no blockage. With the KTM/rail ended, more recreations in the future for river canoeing, fishing,water activity in the area.The prices right now is okay,We are keen to move in. Minus are lack of landscape,greenery gardening,but should you consider high floor,great view is appreciated. -

Quintet honest review
Went to view a few units, the humidity level was very high. Surronding is good for nature lovers and some landscaping on the canal. Feels like staying in terronova. Space is big, given the launch price of 372 psf, not wise to pay more than 700psf in current market. -

Potential option
The units facing windermere seemed too near for the lower floors. The higher floor units which overlook windermere are the best. Those on the opposite side facing the HDB carparks are ok if 6th floor or higher. There does not seemed to have direct access to the pool unless you stay on the 1st floor with patios. Parking is not an issue. Facilities are family friendly. Also a side gate for short walk to the MRT. Just hit 5-year mark and for sale to Citizens and SPR only. Need to note that quite a number of units are tenanted. -
