Hi

If you are 55 years old and above, you can purchase resale HDB 4-room size and below category after selling the private property. If not, you are correct in that the 15 month wait out period applies after selling.

We can try to appeal but it also depends on any special circumstances you have such as financial hardship or medical condition.

Alternatively you can try to find a buyer that is willing to lease the property back to you on a 15 month basis after buying.
