Hi,

1) LTVP working in Singapore is classified as a foreigner especially on property purchase.
2) All property in Singapore is subject to Buyer Stamp duty (~3% for $1M).
3) Foreigner is also subject to 20% ABSD (Additional Buyer Stamp Duty) when buying residential property in Singapore.
4) Foreigners can buy any private property except landed property. You may purchase residential, industrial, or commercial property.
5) There are no tenure restrictions here. You may purchase 99 yrs leasehold or freehold strata unit.
5) Only residential property is subject to ABSD
6) Highest mortgage you may receive in Singapore is 75% Loan-To-Value. You have to prepare a 25% downpayment for the purchase.
