Good evening M,

Yes you can do so. You can also do before you sell your overseas property.

You wont be eligible for HDB loan cause you didn't dispose off your overseas property 30 months before buying a resale HDB.

You can take reference from this HDB website:
https://www.hdb.gov.sg/cs/infoweb/residential/financing-a-flat-purchase/housing-loan-from-hdb/eligibility-conditions

Hope my sharing helps in aiding in your enquiry. May I know how can I value add further in your property needs?

Best regards,

YT Tan

Hi,

Yes, provide you meet all eligibility conditions and qualify to purchase under one of the various Schemes. In fact, you can purchase the flat before you sell the overseas property. You just need to sell it off latest 6 months upon the HDB flat purchase.

You will however not be able to get a HDB loan, or CPF Housing Grants, as you're currently an owner of a private property. In order to qualify for HDB loan or CPF Housing Grants, you will need to wait out a 30-month period after disposing off all private properties.

I am experienced and well-versed in both HDB and private transactions. I will be able to assist you in your property plans. Please get in touch with me for a more in-depth discussion.

Should you need require further assistance in matters relating to property, please contact me at my mobile 9748 6305  . I will be happy to assess and share with you the possibilities for you in the current market.

Thank you.

Best regards,

Hi,

1) You can dispose of your overseas property within 6 months upon key collection of your purchase.
2) You can only take a bank loan in order to do (1).
3) To take an HDB loan, you have to wait out for 30 months after disposing of your overseas property before being eligible for it.
4) Note that this restriction is only applicable to residential property. You may still be eligible for the HDB loan if the property is under the category of industrial or commercial.

Hope the above answer to your main concerns, but if there are more query, please feel free to contact me at 90110636  , or email: ling.ck7@gmail.com if more information is needed.
