Dear Gurus,

Is it the right time to purchase property now? Many people say the property price is very high now. I notice that many condos asking for very high price for very small unit which is not worthy. I feel stupid if I insist to buy property now, although I have the $$$ ready to invest. Please advice.
Thanks.

Depending on the location acutally. With up market, investment opporunity lessen with higher asking price.

I can suggest a few condo that you may want to consider. SMS or call me at 96722265  . I need to understand your personally investment goal before recommending the units for you.

Financial planner spend a lot of time on financial planning (e.g. unit trust, stocks, Insurance). With Property being the largest investment we should even more look at the details and what we want to achieve in our financial goal.

Hello Feity Zeng,

yup, property prices are indeed high, but then again we are still about 20% off from previous peak of 2007. Meaning to say, there is still potential for the upside. If you set yourself a realistic budget, there are still investment worthy properties to be unearthed.

You said that you will feel stupid if you bought property at today's prices. That may be true if the market crashes the following day. But what if you bought and the market hits new highs? Just some food for thought. In any case, there is no hard and solid way to time the market. What would be most important would be your investment goal and risk appetite.

That being said, do view my profile at www.96952550.com and if you feel we can work together, do contact me. Have a great week ahead!
