Hello, currently staying at a 4 room bto going to MOP. It was fully paid since day 1 of buying and didn't apply for any hdb loan before. I'm planing to upgrade. I want to keep cash from my proceeds.... and if I'm applying hdb loan '1st time' ... do I still need to give back 50% of my proceeds ??

Hi,

Not necessary to port over 50% of your sale cash proceeds since it will be your first hdb loan. May I know where is your HDB located and the MOP fulfillment date?

As you're only taking your first HDB loan, there is no requirement for you to set aside "half cash sale proceeds". This is only applicable for buyers who are taking up a second HDB concessionary loan.
