Hey Gurus, I've rent a room and signed a TA for 24 months with a clause that "either party must give one month notice to terminate the agreement". I've been staying there for 15 months and wish to move in to another place with my cousin.
If I give one month notice before I move out, do I need to pay any compensation? Can the landlord withhold my security deposit? If not, how do I ensure the landlord refunds my security deposit when I move out?
