Hi all, I'm new here. I'm a Singaporean and I intend to marry my Malaysian girlfriend in 2 years time. We are both planning to buy a house but not sure which is wiser; to buy a house in JB or in Singapore. I want to continue working in Singapore and my girlfriend would want to work here.
We have plans to buy a house in JB and later buy another one in Singapore however I am aware that I will need to dispose the property overseas.
If we buy a house in Singapore and have intention to buy one in JB, we will need to fulfill the minimum 5 year MOP (Minimum occupancy period) and later we can buy a house in JB.
Can any Gurus please assist us for our situation here ?
