Hi, both me and hubby are singaporean. If we sell our current hdb unit and buy another hdb unit now. After we have fully clear the loan, five years down the road, Can we buy a condo unit and rent out our hdb?

Based on the current ruling, you are able to rent out the new HDB after 5 years, which is the current Minimum Occupation Period (MOP).

Morning,

As SC, you are eligible to purchase your second property, private or landed, and yet keep your HDB unit in hand. This is however subjected to fulfilling the MOP requirements of 5 years.
