Hi, yes you can purchase a condo and rent out the whole hdb unit once you met the MOP. Pls also note that the additional stamp duty will be at 10%.

Hi there,

You can do so if your household has at least 1 singaporean. Do take note you will be subject to 7% absd on top of estimated 3% bsd. And if you have utilised cpf in your current hdb, you have to set aside a minimum sum of $77.5k in your CPF OA + SA before you can use the excess in this condo purchase.

If you are a SPR household, you have to dispose off your hdb within 6 months from purchase completion.

Morning,

You will be eligible to apply for rental approval of either your spouse or you are SC. You will likely to obtain 50% loan if your current unit is still on mortgage. ABSD payable by cash will be 7 or 10%, depending whose name you are using for the purchase on the private property.
