Hi,

If you engage an agent to protect your interests and to do a professional job, be it seller or buyer side, commission is payable to your respective agent. Ie. Seller pays his/her seller agent, buyer pays his/her agent.

It is not a coincidence most successful hdb transactions are completed through respective seller and buyer agents as we manage it professionally and provide a hassle free experience. Thanks and hope to understand your plans further to value-add.

Hi, it is not entirely true as I'm still serving quite a handful of buyers purchasing HDB units. By having an agent to assist you, it will save you lots of time and hassle as your agent will be professional and knowledgeable enough to select those good buy units and to shortlist them for viewing.

A typical fees charged by salesperson for HDB resale if salesperson service is engaged:

Seller @ 2% + GST
Buyer @ 1% + GST

If you have a representative that is assisting you with your sale or purchase, you will have to pay him/ her commission.

If as a HDB buyer, you are not keen to pay commission. You can consider to DIY and handle the paperworks by yourself.

Just a case study for you. Recently I have a direct buyer who forgot to submit resale checklist and have loan issues before exercise. This can be easily solved if they appoint a representative, he/ she will make sure everything goes smooth sailing for you.
