Hi Guru,

I’m PR and my hub is SG citizen, we’d like to buy a new flat directly from HDB, before our rental contract end (March’10).We prefer to buy a 3 room flat(new,not resale).

Currently I am working , my basic salary is S$1900.But My hub is going to stop his work on end of Sep,due to his studying.It’ll be take about 6 months or more than that….His lastest salary is S$ 5000.

My question are

-Are we eligible to buy a new flat from HDB?

-What type of flat can we buy?

-Housing loan amount depends on me or my hub’s salary?

-May I know approximate price of flat (3 or 4 room flat), to do financing?
