Hi Gurus,
Hope you all can help me with this.

My family live in a private property. The title deed ONLY has my dad's name while the mortgage loan has BOTH my parents' names.

All these while, my mum is the one paying for the loan. So, she requested that my dad adds her name in the title deed. He actually told her that it will cost more than S$10K!

My questions are:

1) How much will it cost? Def not $10K right?

2) In the event where my dad passes away, how will the property divided? (He has grown-up children from his previous marriages and are not supporting him at all)

3) Even if my mum's name is on the loan but not on the title deed, it can't mean that she owns the property as well right?
